Esthetician:

This position is for licensed estheticians who are looking for that solo lifestyle without the overhead of starting a business. This is a great opportunity to build your book and work in an existing business in a professional and clean environment. While performing services as an SSB contractor, you will need to comply and adhere to all policies, practices, procedures and guidelines that govern SSB, Inc. 

The SSB Studio is seeking an Esthetician to join our team and work in the best industry EVER!

Compensation:

  • Compensation is based on completed services, product sales, monthly bonuses, and quarterly SSB Studio profit share

  • Service compensation is based on $25/hr

  • Product sales 20% commission

  • And, of course, TIPS!

Responsibilities:

  • The SSB Studio provides waxing, skincare, and full body treatments (SSB does not require you to do all services. You can choose the services you want to do.)

  • Build your book

  • Consult with clients to understand their skincare/waxing concerns and recommend personalized treatment plans

  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and treatment plans

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure that all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained

  • Promote SSB Studio's products and services to clients and recommend appropriate products for at-home use

  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies

Requirements:

  • Must hold a current MD state license to practice as an Esthetician

  • No minimum time requirement for experience in the industry

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Knowledge of current skincare and waxing trends and techniques

  • Passion for the skincare industry and a commitment to providing exceptional client service

In-person Interview Process:

  • Interview #1: Get to know one another and review compensation structure, requirements, and benefits.

  • Interview #2: Practical demonstration of services and product sales. Models will be required and can be provided for you upon request.

About the Position:

  • Sales account representatives are expected to visit salon owners and stylists to prospect, expand and cultivate business.

  • Our sales reps develop strong relationships with their client base.

  • Travels daily by car to visit accounts.

  • Visits existing accounts to develop sales and relationships no less than 1 time per month.

  • Meets monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for new account openings, in terms of numbers and dollars, by meeting or exceeding targets for cold-call activities, and in-person visits with identified and qualified leads.

  • Engages in prospecting activities, profiling, and opening SSB accounts through the generation of leads by multiple aspects, including cold-calling and event management, building a relationship through regular, on-going personal visits with prospective accounts in the area to lead the prospective account to open with SSB.

  • Assures rapid follow-up with a new lead within 36-72 hours of the identification in some form to build immediately upon the interest of the prospect in SSB.

  • Meets all KPI goals quarterly and annually.

  • Manages business and administrative responsibilities including timely submission of territory business plans, logging of sales calls and calendar activities, and expense reports as well as other sales reports as defined by their District Manager.

  • SSB offers a training program that is ongoing to learn our products and services to help you succeed in the role. We also offer constant support from SSB leadership.

  • Attend monthly sales meetings that offer additional trainings to continue to support the sales representatives.

  • Maintains and assures a safe work environment, embracing safe driving practices.

  • Positive up-lifting comradery from colleagues.

Experience Required:

  • One year of sales experience

  • Background in presenting

  • Excellent computer skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Car must be in good working order

  • Must live within the assigned territory

  • Must have valid drivers' license and current car insurance

  • Must have a cell phone

  • Ability to safely lift a maximum of 20 pounds

  • Restock and merchandize inventory

Compensation:

  • Product Sales are 20% commission (w/ no cap!)

  • Quarterly bonuses based on quarterly products sales and revenue targets/goals.

  • Base salary + Commission option (after 90 days)

  • Mileage reimbursement
